They want to see presence, spirit, true personality.

Every actor, even if we're an adult, needs our headshot portfolio to capture both:

• the essence of us as a person AND
• a sense of the kaleidoscope of our personality.

No matter our age, we should try to stretch that age range in our headshot portfolio, if we can.

Looking younger can be great, especially for young actors - off-screen maturity is a good thing.

Looking older can be great too (even for adults).
